2018 OPEN REGISTRATION

Online registration is open NOW for all sessions.

All Cheerleading Squads are on a WAITLIST.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Spring Flag (K-8)          $75

Fall Flag (K-2nd)           $125 ($10 discount if registered before April 1, 2018)

Cheerleading (K-1st)     $300 ($25 discount if registered before April 1, 2018)

Cheerleading (2nd-8th) $325 ($25 discount if registered before April 1, 2018)

Tackle                            $325 ($25 discount if registered before April 1, 2018)

 

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT FEES

  • Registrations after June 1, 2018 will incur an additional $25 late fee.
  • The maximum family fee is $750 for 3 registered children, $875 for 4 registered children.
  • Fundraising options are available.
  • Payments can be made by cash, check, or major credit card.
  • YOU MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY JULY 10, 2018 to have your customized name plate on the back of your jersey.  All players and cheerleaders must be paid in full to receive equipment/uniforms.

Cheerleading 2018

For: Kindergarten / 1st grade in the Fall of 2018. Practice will start on Monday, July 16 at Osmond Park. The girls will practice 3 nights a week prior to school starting and then continue 2-3 days per week when school starts. (some practices may be on Saturday or Sunday) They will cheer for one flag or flyweight game a week and compete in 2 Regular Season Cheer Competitions. The season will start in late July and run through the first week of November.

For: 2nd grade - 8th grade for the Fall of 2018. Practice will start on Monday, July 16th at Osmond Park. The girls will practice 3 nights a week prior to school starting and then continue 2-3 days per week when school starts. (some practices may be on Saturday or Sunday) They will cheer for one game a week and compete in 3 Regular Season Cheer Competitions. 3rd grade squads and up wil have the option of going to the IRCA State Competition (decision to be made by Head Coach). The season will start in late July and our last regular season competition will be the middle of November. For 3rd grade and above, the state competition will be held November 30 - December 2.


Tackle Football 2018

This level is targeted towards players that are in grades 2nd through 8th grade for the fall of 2018. (age 7 thru 14) Fall Tackle will begin late July - you will be notified via email on exact start date. The team that your child will play on will be finalized after the 2nd week of practice. Your child may play on a Saturday or a Sunday team depending on their skill and their weight. Football equipment handout will be Saturday, July 14th. A parent meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at ACHS.

A $350 deposit check must be collected before equipment can be taken home. Please make checks out to VYFA. Put the player’s name on the check for identification.


Flag Football Fall 2018

This level is targeted for kindergarten through 2nd grade only. Fall Flag teaches the children all aspects of the game while developing their football skills.
Practices will start first week of August at Tim Osmond Park - exact date TBD. Games will be on Saturdays (with the possibility to play on Sundays based on field availability). This will be a travel program with surrounding communities. The season runs from early August through late October and you will be contacted with a season schedule.

* K-1st grade - In House Developmental flag football league (players who will be 6 years old or under as of September 1st, 2018 can play in this league). Games will be local (Antioch, Fox Lake, Lake Villa, Mundelein, Wauconda, McHenry, Round Lake, Johnsburg).

* 2nd Grade team - In House Competitive flag football league (players who will be 7 years old or under as of September 1st, 2018). Games will be local (Antioch, Fox Lake, Lake Villa, Mundelein, Wauconda, McHenry, Round Lake, Johnsburg). End of the year All Star team will compete in a tournament against surrounding towns for the Lake County Flag Football Trophy.

*All players >7 years old as of September 1st-->must play tackle football.
